SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) -- Newly released documents related to the
1972 murder of a 13-year-old altar boy include dozens of pages of
witness statements and police reports.

Danny Croteau's body was found along the Chicopee River on April 15th,
1972 after someone fatally bludgeoned him.
71-year-old Bernice Croteau says "somebody out there" knows what
happened to her son.
The only named suspect was Richard Lavigne, his family's parish
priest.
