K tomu dodavam: Hostyn je jen asi 15 km od meho rodneho mesta
Holesova, kde jsem zil az do roku 1952. Hostyn se svou kapli na vrchu
je z Holesova taky velmi dobre viditelny. Na Hostyne jsem byl
mnohokrat jak v lete - obvykle prochazkou pres les - na podzim pri
sbirani hub - a v zime lyzovat. Jednou - nekdy kolem roku 1948 - jsem
tam byl take pri pouti ktere se ucastnilo nekolik set ne-li tisicu
lidi. Ty legendy o tom jak svata panenka Marie na Hostyne zastavila
invazi Tataru jsme samozrejme v Holesove velice dobre znali. Krome
toho muj otec, ktery byl kamenosochar take delal nejake opravy soch a
pomniku na Hostyne. Vyse zmineneho Rudolfa Plajnera, ktery je na
Hostyne pohrben jsem velice dobre osobne znal. Po nejakou dobu on se
svou rodinou byli nasi sousede, t.j. bydleli v rodinem domku na
holesovske Tride Legii, hned vedle nas.Pozdeji jeden z jeho synu,
ktery se jmenoval take Oldrich vedl skautskou skupinu ve ktere jsem
byl jednim z clenu.Jeho otec byl tehdy celonarodnim vudcem skautu a
obvykle prisel na navstevu naseho skautskeho oddilu, kdyz jsme byli v
lete na skautskem tabore, neprilis daleko od Hostyna.
Konecne Rudolf Plajner byl take mym ucitelem - a musim dodat, ze byl
velmi dobrym ucitelem - fyziky a matematiky kdyz jsem studoval na
Holesovkem gymnasiu. V te dobe byl Plajner take po urcitou dobu
reditelem toho gymnasia.
