The story of Safiyah, the Jewish wife of Muhammad, the creator of
Islam
======================================================
Safiyah's story
First we will read the story of Safiyah from Islamic sources and then
we will compare it with the reality of facts, as well as human nature
and the customs of the people in those days.
The Islamic version:
Safiyah Bint Huyeiy Ibn Akhtab was one of the wives of Prophet
Mohamed. She was the daughter of Huyeiy Ibn Akhtab, the chief of the
Banu Nadir tribe, who were all expelled from Madinah in 4 AH after
plotting to kill the Messenger of Allah . She was known for her
extreme beauty. She did not only love Prophet Mohamed deeply, but also
greatly respected him as Allah's Messenger. (We will see why this is a
lie shortly, below.) She was intelligent, learned and gentle. In fact,
gentleness and patience were her dominant qualities. She had many good
moral qualities.
She was married to Kinana ibn al-Rabi'a just before the Muslims
attacked Khaibar. She was then seventeen. She had formerly been the
wife of Sallam ibn Mishkam, who divorced her.
She married Prophet Mohamed in 7 AH, when the Prophet was sixty years
old and she was seventeen years old. As in the case of juwayriyya bint
Harith, this marriage occurred after one of the Muslims' decisive
battles, in this case, the battle was Khaybar.
After the battle of Khaybar in which the Muslims defeated the Jews,
two women were brought before Prophet Mohamed by Bilal. They had
passed by those who had been killed in the battle. One of the two
women was shrieking and screaming, and rubbing dust in her hair, while
the other was mute with shock. (They were shocked because of the
GENOCIDE Muhammad commited against their people. Jewish people)
The who was mute with shock was Safiyah, the other one was her cousin.
Prophet Mohamed asked someone to look after the woman who was
screaming and then took off his cloak and placed it over the shoulders
of Safiyah, whose husband had been killed in the battle.
It was a gesture of pity, but from that moment she was to be honored
and given great respect in the Muslim community. (This is a commentary
and it does not reflect the reality of the situation)
After doing this Prophet Mohamed turned to Bilal and said:
"Bilal, has Allah plucked mercy from your heart that you let these two
women pass by those of their men folk who have been killed?" (Muhammad
intended to hide these killings from these women)
This was considered a severe reprimand, for the Messenger of Allah ,
who rarely criticized the behaviour of those who served him.
Like Um Habiba, Safiyah was the daughter of a great chief. The only
person who could save her from becoming a slave after having enjoyed
such a high position was Prophet Mohamed. (Note that Safiyah was NOT a
slave previous to Muhammad invading her city. )
Even thought her father had previously planned to assassinate Mohamed
after the battle of Uhud, and had conspired with the Banu Qurayza to
exterminate all the Muslims during the battle of al-Khandaq, it was
characteristic of Prophet Mohamed that he did not bear any grudges for
those who did wrong. He felt pity rather than anger, and for those who
had done no wrong, he had even greater compassion. (Yeah, his
compassion was shown by the WAR he waged in Khyber, that resulted in
mass genocide. Very compassionate indeed!)
Prophet Mohamed then invited Safiyah to embrace Islam, which she did,
and after having given her her freedom, he married her. (He forced her
to convert. This is the truth. She despised Islam. She despised
Muhammad and after seeing such carnage, she had no choice but to save
her own life by accepting to marry this old murderer. Poor girl!!)
Safiyah had requested the Prophet to wait till he had gone a stage
away from Khaibar.
"Why?" asked the Prophet.
"I was afraid for you on account of the Jews who still happened to be
near at Khaibar!"
(Note how Muhammad wanted to have intercourse with Safiyah immediately
after he killled her whole family! But she gave him an excuse. Poor
girl!! She lied to him pretending she cared for him. She was indeed
intelligent!)
Many people wondered how could Safiyah embrace Islam and marry Prophet
Mohamed when her father had been his bitter enemy, and when bloody
battles had taken place between the Jews and the Muslims. (And they
are still wondering now. We know she had no choice and did it to save
her own life!)
The answer may be found in what she has related of her early life as
the daughter of the chief of the Banu Nadir. She said:
"I was my father and my uncle Yasir's favorite. They could never see
me with one of their children without picking me up. When the
Messenger of Allah came to Madinah, my father and my uncle went to see
him. It was very early in the morning and between dawn and sunrise.
They did not return until the sun was setting. They came back worn out
and depressed, walking with slow, heavy steps. I smiled to them as I
always did, but neither of them took any notice of me because they
were so miserable. I heared Abu Yasir ask my father:
'Is it him?' (Meaning, Muhammad the one who destroyed already Medinah
and Mecca)
'Yes, it is.'
'Can you recognize him? Can you verify it?'
'Yes, I can recognize him too well.'
'What do you feel towards him?'
'Enmity, enmity as long as I live.' (Note that this is what they felt
for this murderer)
The significance of this conversation is evident when we recall that
in the Torah of the Jews, it was written that a Prophet would come who
would lead those who followed him to victory. (This is a lie, because
there is NO SUCH THING in the TORAH of the Jews. The Torah does NOT
mention Muhammad, nor it alludes to him in any way. Anyone is free to
check it for themselves) Indeed before the Prophet Mohammed came to
Madinah, the Jews used to threaten the idol wor****ppers of Yathrib, as
it was then called, that when the next Prophet comes to the believers,
they will exterminate them, just as the Jews had exterminated other
tribes who refused to wor****p God in the past.
(The Jews did NOT threaten any of the pagans of Yathrib, i.e.
Medinah's ancient name, in fact, they allied themselves with the
pagans to fight Muhammad. Furthermore, the Jews did not exterminate
anyone just for their beliefs, but there were wars that were waged
accross the ancient world, and they were fully sup****ted by reasons
and not free and unjustified hate)
Just as the Prophet Jesus, who had been clearly described in the Torah
been rejected by many of the Jews when he actually came - the next and
last Prophet was accurately described in the Torah, which also
contained signs by which the Jews could easily recognize him. (Again,
this is a lie. Jesus was NOT described in the Torah, nor was Muhammad.
There is absolutely nothing that alludes to Muhammad in the Torah. )
Thus Ka'b al-Ahbar, one of the Jews of that time who embraced Islam,
relates that this Prophet is described in the Torah as follows:
'My slave, Ahmad, the Chosen, born in Makkah, who will emigrate to
Madinah (or he said Tayyiba - another name given to Yathrib); his
community will be those who praise Allah in every state.' (Obviously,
there is NO SUCH THING written in the Torah)
And Amr ibn al-Aas said that it also says in the Torah:
"O Prophet, We have sent you as a witness, a bringer of good news and
a Warner and a refuge for the illiterate. You are My slave and My
messenger. I have called you the one on whom people rely, one who is
neither coarse nor vulgar, and who neither shouts in the markets nor
repays evil with evil, but rather pardons and forgives. Allah will not
take him back to Himself until he has straightened out the crooked
community and they say, 'There is no god but Allah.' Through him,
blind eyes, deaf ears and covered hearts will be opened." (Again, not
even this was mentioned in the Torah. And muslims also FAIL to give us
references for the verses that say that. Obviously because there is
none)
It was according to these descriptions in the Torah, that the most
learned rabbi of the Jews, Abdullah ibn Salam, had embraced Islam on
seeing Mohammed and it was because of these descriptions that Huyeiy
ibn Akhtal was also able to recognize him. (This is a load of rubbish.
Torah does not mention Muhammad or describes him. And those words
above are not in the Torah. People are welcome to buy one and read it
for themselves)
Although Safiyah was Huyeiy's daughter, she had a pure heart and had
always wanted to wor****p her Creator and Lord, the One who had sent
Moses, to whom she was related, and Jesus, and finally Mohamed, may
Allah be pleased with all of them. (Moses yes, Jesus may be... more
than likely NO, because Jews do not accept Jesus, but Muhammad,
certainly NOT)
Thus as soon as she got the op****tunity, she did not only follow the
last Prophet, but also married him. (Funny how muslims TRY to justify
the unjustifiable and provide excuses for his murderous acts and
Safiyah's desperate actions! Only a fool cannot see through this!)
Although Safiyah had in Prophet Mohamed a most kind and considerate
husband, she was not always favorably accepted by some of his other
wives, especially when she had first joined the Prophet's household.
(Favourable husband? One who kills her WHOLE FAMILY, her WHOLE tribe
and forces her to have intercourse with him on that very same night,
is to be considered a CONSIDERATE husband?)
It is related by Anas that on one occasion, Prophet Mohamed found
Safiyah weeping. When he asked her what the matter was, she replied
that she heard that Hafsahh had disparagingly described her as 'the
daughter of a Jew'.
The Prophet consoled her. He encouraged her. He equipped her with
logic by saying to her: "You are certainly the daughter of a Prophet
Harun, and certainly your uncle was a Prophet Musa, and you are
certainly the wife of a Prophet Mohammed, so what is there in that to
be scornful towards you?" (Oh, isn't this hillarious? He equipped her
with LOGIC! Muhammad was no prophet, that is for sure.)
Then he said to Hafsah, "O Hafsah, fear Allah!"
Safiyah and Zainab bint Jahsh once accompanied the Prophet on a
journey, when Safiyah's camel went lame. Zainab had an extra camel and
the Prophet asked her if she would give it to Safiyah. Zainab
retorted, "Should I give to that Jewess!" The Prophet turned away from
her in anger and would not have anything to do with her for two months
to show his disapproval of what she had said. (So? Muhammad had also
been married to Khadija, who was a JEWESS).
Three years later, when Prophet Mohamed was in his final illness,
Safiyah felt deep and sincere sadness for him. She said: "O Messenger
of Allah, I wish it was I who was suffering instead of you." (These
words were surely ADDED to the Hadith, for Safiyah hated Muhammad with
all her heart for what he had done to her and her people. And this
poor girl had to endure sharing the same bed as this decrepit old
paedophile and murderer. I don't think anyone can understand this
girl's pain.)
Some of the wives winked at each other, which made the Prophet angry,
and he exclaimed: "By Allah, she spoke the truth!" (Even his wives
KNEW Safiyah was lying. Amusing indeed. They all knew Safiyah HATED
him, only HE did not know. A delusional fool he was indeed!)
Safiyah also faced some difficulties after the death of Prophet
Mohamed.
On one occasion a slave girl she owned went to the Amir al Muminin
Omar and said: "Amir al Muminin! Safiyah loves the Sabbath and
maintains ties with the Jews!" (Of course, she was Jewish!) Omar asked
Safiyah about that and she said: "I have not loved the Sabbath since
Allah replaced it with Friday for me, and I only maintain ties with
those Jews to whom I am related by kin****p." (Poor Safiyah, again she
had to LIE to save her skin) She asked her slave girl what had
possessed her to carry lies to Omar and the girl replied, "Shaytan!"
Safiyah said, "Go, you are free."(Safiyah sacked her gossiper slave.
Good. This slave talked too much)
Safiyah lived with Prophet Mohamed for about four years, She was only
twenty-one when he died, and lived as a widow for the next thirty-nine
years, dying in 50 AH, at the age of sixty and was buried in al Baqi
cemetery. She left property worth one hundred thousand dirhams leaving
one-third for her nephew, and the rest was given in charity.
Here we can see how poor safiyah was treated by the lustful muhammad.
FACTS:
1. The war in Khyber lasted 3 days.
2. Safiyah was Jewish
3. When Muhammad met Safiyah, she was MUTE WITH SHOCK (at the carnage
he did in her village) and the other girl who was with her, was
pouring DUST over her head (A Jewish custom of mourning).
4. Safiyah was married to Muhammad on the 3rd day of the war in
Khyber.
5. Abu Ayyub was FEARFUL for the life of Muhammad as he was left ALONE
in a tent with Safiyah (while trying to have intercourse with her),
even before leaving Khyber.
Based on these above facts we can see that Safiyah had only 3 days to
convert to ISLAM.
Take into consideration that she had just witnessed her whole village
being murdered by the prophet of Islam. She was MUTE WITH SHOCK.
This does not look like a 17 years old girl who was madly in love with
a 56 years old man, and who would marry him straight away for love.
Who can convert to Islam in 3 days? Has anyone taken 3 days to convert
to Islam? NO. so.. if someone has, it has to be forcefull. NO ONE
learns Islam in 3 days!!!!
The reason Safiyah rejected the ***ual advances of the 57-year-old
Muhammad should be obvious to any objective person. I believe most
women prefer to mourn than jump into bed with the killer of their
father, husband and many relatives on the same day of their death. But
the fact that the prophet of Allah could not contain his ***ual urges
for one day to let this young girl grieve, says a lot of his thinking
and moral character. However as for the rest of the story we are not
sure whether it is true or was fabricated by Muslim historians to wipe
the impression of rape.
But this is all we have and to find the truth we have to rely on these
biased do***ents written by Muslim historians. The story goes on to
say that Abu Ayyub was concerned for the safety of the prophet because
he (Muhammad) had killed Safiyah's father, husband and many of her
relatives. This is logical. It is foolish to sleep with a woman after
killing her loved ones. But Safiyah's excuse for rejecting Muhammad's
advances towards her seems unreasonable. When Muhammad took this young
girl into his tent, he had already killed many Jews and was winning
the war. If there were any Jews left, they probably were more worried
for their own lives than Safiyah's chastity.
Also she was already in the tent alone with Muhammad, how the Jews
would have known if they were engaged in *** or not? I wonder what
other excuse could she make to a man who was the murderer of her
father, husband and many of her relatives to let her alone at least
that night?
"The next day a Walima (wedding-feast) was arranged on behalf of the
Prophet... "
Note that the historian is saying that the wedding took place one day
after the prophet got private with Safiyah and made his moves to have
*** with her. This presented no problem for the prophet as he had his
Allah reveal a verse saying it is okay to sleep with women captured in
war without marrying them even if they are married.
"And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives)
whom your right hands possess..." (Q. 4:24)
The above verse shows that the prophet did not believe that slaves
have any right.
You could be a happily married woman living your own life, but if
Muhammad and his devout followers attacked your town and captured you,
you would lose all your rights, and while your husband was being
killed or enslaved you would be given to a Muslim Mujahid who would
rape you all with Allah's blessings.
continuing..
"The other wives of the Prophet showed their jealousy by making
slights upon her Jewish origin. But the Prophet always defended her.
Once Safiyah was vexed to the extreme by the taunts of all the Arab
wives of the Prophet. She took the complaint to the Prophet, who felt
great compassion for her. He consoled her. He encouraged her. He
equipped her with logic. He said: "Safiyah, take courage and be bold.
They are in no way superior to you. Tell them: I am a daughter of the
Prophet Harun, a niece of the Prophet Musa, and a wife of the Prophet
Muhammad".
When she was brought along with other prisoners-of-war, the Prophet
said to her, "Safiyah, your father always maintained enmity with me
until Allah made the final decision." She said, "But Allah does not
catch one for the sins of another." (Here we can clearly see that even
Safiyah knew more about G-d than Muhammad, this so-called prophet. She
was RIGHT. G-d does NOT catch one for the sins of another. But
Muhammad FAILED to understand this. Why? Because he was NOT acting for
Allah. He was acting for HIMSELF)
This of course contradicts Muhammad's own behavior who annihilated the
entire Bani Qainuqa with the pretext that few of them had killed a
Muslim in retaliation. That is despite the verse that says "Namely,
that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another" (Q. 53:38)
Also it was not Allah who made the final decision. (It was MUHAMMAD
himself)
Safiyah's father was killed by Muhammad's men not by Allah. This would
be the same as Hitler claiming that G-d killed all the Jews in the
holocaust. If G-d wanted to kill all those people that Muhammad and
his army killed He could have done it on his own. G-d needs no
mercenaries to do his will.
"The Prophet then gave her the choice of joining her people after
freedom or accepting Islam and coming into a matrimonial relation****p
with him"
(Remember.. her people were DEAD.
Another thing: As you could see above.. POLYGAMY generates JEALOUSY.
If Allah allowed such thing, he is more evil than the devil himself.
Only an EVIL thing would encourage SINS into mankind's hearts.
We have to remember that Muhammad killed most of her people and
banished the rest of them. So giving the choice to join her people is
not much of a choice.)
"She was very intelligent and gentle and said, "O Allah's Messenger, I
had hoped for Islam, and I confirmed you before your invitation. Now
when I have the honour to be in your presence, I am given a choice
between kufr and Islam I swear by Allah, that Allah and His Messenger
is dearer to me than my own freedom and my joining with my
people." (Tabaqat).
Was this confession, if true, sincere? Was she safe to speak out her
mind? She was enslaved by a man who had exterminated her family and
could do with her the same.
See the reference made to her "freedom". This shows clearly that she
was not free. In fact she must have been very intelligent to fabricate
those lies to save her own life.
"When Safiyah was married, she was very young, and according to one
re****t she was hardly seventeen years old and was extremely beautiful.
Once A'isha said a few sentences about her short stature, at which the
Prophet said, "You have said a thing that if it were left in the sea,
it would mix with it (and make its water dirty). " (Abu Dawud). She
not only deeply loved the Prophet but also greatly respected him as
Allah's Messenger, for she heard the conversations of her father and
uncle after they went to Medinah. When the Prophet migrated to
Medinah, they came to see him and find out whether he was the true
Messenger of Allah spoken of in the Scriptures. When they got back and
talked together that night, Safiyah was in her bed listening to them.
One of them said, "What do you think about him?" He replied, "He is
the same Prophet foretold by our Scriptures." Then the other said,
"What is to be done?" The reply came that they must oppose him with
all their might."
Is this story, narrated by Abu Dawud, credible?
How can two Jews recognize Muhammad as the prophet foretold by their
scriptures and decide to oppose him with all their might?
It defies all logic. It takes a "deficient in intelligence" to believe
in this nonsense. It is not clear whether Safiyah lied to conform and
make her self accepted among her enemies or it is another fabrication
of a zealot believer. Why would someone decide to oppose with all his
might the one who he has found out to be the promised one of his own
scriptures? But this is not all! Where in the Bible it says anything
about Muhammad? How come Safiyah's father and uncle could decipher
their scriptures and find about Muhammad while for 1400 years all
Muslim scholars have been unable to do it?
"So Safiyah was convinced of the truth of the Prophet. She spared no
pain to look after him, care for him and provide every comfort that
she could think of. This is evident since she came into his presence
after the fall of Khaibar."
See how the writer contradicts himself in one page? Just a few lines
above we read that she was captured and was taken to Muhammad as a
prisoner. She didn't come on her own. She was taken to the prophet
because she was young and the prettiest of other women captured.
"The Prophet had a slight grievance against her for she had refused
when the Prophet wanted to have privacy with her at the previous stage
(of the journey). At the next halt, the Prophet had privacy with her
and spent all night with her. When she was asked by Umm Sulaim, "What
did you see in Allah's Messenger?" She said he was very pleased with
her and did not sleep at all but was talking to her all night. He had
asked her, 'Why did you refuse at the first stage when I desired
privacy with you?' She had said, 'I was afraid for you because of the
nearness of the Jews. "'This thing further increased my merit in his
eyes." (Tabaqat).
Bukhari also has recorded some Hadithes telling the invasion of
Kheibar and how Muhammad met Safiyah.
Narrated 'Abdul 'Aziz:
Anas said, 'When Allah's Apostle invaded Khaibar, we offered the Fajr
prayer there yearly in the morning) when it was still dark. The
Prophet rode and Abu Talha rode too and I was riding behind Abu Talha.
The Prophet passed through the lane of Khaibar quickly and my knee was
touching the thigh of the Prophet . He uncovered his thigh and I saw
the whiteness of the thigh of the Prophet. When he entered the town,
he said, 'Allahu Akbar! Khaibar is ruined. Whenever we approach near a
(hostile) nation (to fight) then evil will be the morning of those who
have been warned.' He repeated this thrice. The people came out for
their jobs and some of them said, 'Muhammad (has come).' (Some of our
companions added, "With his army.") We conquered Khaibar, took the
captives, and the booty was collected. Dihya came and said, 'O Allah's
Prophet! Give me a slave girl from the captives.' The Prophet said,
'Go and take any slave girl.' He took Safiya bint Huyai. A man came to
the Prophet and said, 'O Allah's Apostles! You gave Safiya bint Huyai
to Dihya and she is the chief mistress of the tribes of Quraiza and An-
Nadir and she befits none but you.' So the Prophet said, 'Bring him
along with her.' So Dihya came with her and when the Prophet saw her,
he said to Dihya, 'Take any slave girl other than her from the
captives.' Anas added: The Prophet then manumitted her and married
her."
Thabit asked Anas, "O Abu Hamza! What did the Prophet pay her (as
Mahr)?" He said, "Her self was her Mahr for he manumitted her and then
married her." Anas added, "While on the way, Um Sulaim dressed her for
marriage (ceremony) and at night she sent her as a bride to the
Prophet . (Sahih Bukhari 1.367)
Mahr or dowry is a money that a bride receives from her husband when
he marries her. Muhammad did not pay Safiyah her Mahr because he had
to pay it to himself for manumitting her. Of course the irony is that
he did not buy her but enslaved her by raiding her town. This story is
significant because it gives us an insight into the moral and ethical
values of the Prophet of G-d (Peace be upon his immaculate soul)
Our modern sensibility makes us cringe with stories like this, yet
amazingly Muhammad taught that he is going to receive two rewards by
marrying Safiyah. One for manumitting someone whom no one but himself
had enslaved and the other for marrying the prettiest girl who was 40
years younger.
Abu Musa re****ted that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said
about one who emancipated a slave woman, and then married her, that
for him there are two rewards. (Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3327)
Also in another part:
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer near Khaibar when it was still
dark and then said, "Allahu-Akbar! Khaibar is destroyed, for whenever
we approach a (hostile) nation (to fight), then evil will be the
morning for those who have been warned." Then the inhabitants of
Khaibar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors
killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was
amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but
later on she belonged to the Prophet . The Prophet made her
manumission as her 'Mahr'. (Sahih Bukhari V.5 B.59 N.512)
So from all this, one can easily see the LACK of character of this so-
called prophet of G-d.
He was no prophet. He was a murderer, an Arab marauder, and a
paedophile with no respect for women or their feelings
