I was watching recently the Disney film, "National Treasure" -
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0368891/
and was reminded of a parable in the Bible of a merchant who found
a pearl of great price. So valuable
was it that he sold all that he had to obtain it. Jesus teaches in
this parable that there is something worth more than all the gold,
land, resources and treasures nations war and fight for on earth. The
Bible gives
us a clues to
what this treasure is -which is more valuable than the Masonic
National Treasure depicted
in the movie. Please take the time to read the following words of
Christ and his followers and search the Bible and you may with God's
help find what Jesus promises to all who will ask and seek.
"The kingdom of Heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly
pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and
sold all that he had, and bought it." Matthew 13:45-46
[44] Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a
field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy
thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Matt.6
[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and
rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
[20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither
moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through
nor
steal: [21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be
also.
1Cor.2
[9] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither
have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath
prepared
for them that love him.
Col.2:2-3
...... the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
2Cor.4
[17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for
us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
[18] While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the
things
which are not seen: for the things which are seen are tem****al; but
the things which are not seen are eternal.

I've found the Pearl of greatest price,
My heart doth sing for joy;
And sing I must, for Christ is mine;
Christ shall my song employ.
Christ is my Prophet, Priest and King;
A Prophet full of light,
My great High Priest before the throne,
My King of heav'nly might.
For He indeed is Lord of lords,
And He the King of kings;
He is the Sun of righteousness,
With healing in His wings.
Christ is my Peace; He died for me,
For me He gave His blood;
And as my wondrous Sacrifice,
Offered Himself to God.
Christ Jesus is my All in all,
My Comfort and my Love,
My Life below, and He shall be
My Joy and Crown above.
Words: by John Mason, 1683.
John.3
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
Eph.2
[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God:
[9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
2Cor.4
[17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for
us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
[18] While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the
things
which are not seen: for the things which are seen are tem****al; but
the things which are not seen are eternal.
