Ah! So the folk of South America (or do I mean those in the south of
North America but north of the Mexican part of America?) are of lesser
value than those in the north of North America (but south of the
Canadian part of North America), whether or not they're Native
Americans or just native Americans - if you see what I mean? Is this
the same difference as Brits being the same as Britons? Or not (being
the same as Britons)? Or not (the same as Brits being the same as
Britons)?

Personally, I think America (US of) should be officially renamed Yankia
(or Yankeea & Gobia, depending on whether the North or the South win
this time), and their curiously strange language, Yankish (or Yankeesh
& Gobbish, of course). Solve a lot of problems, that would.
