I am a PhD student doing Museum Studies in University of Leicester. I
am not doing an online survey, 'What is CHINA?' to enquire about how
people in UK perceive Chinese culture. (Please follow the weblink:

This is part of my
postgraduate project of 'Looking at Chineseness: A Study of Chinese
ceramics collections in museums and art galleries in Britain? The goal
of this project is to propose an interpretive model that will enhance
the viewing of Chinese ceramics collections in museums in hope of
fostering cross-cultural understanding.
This survey would only take you twenty minutes. Please rest assured
that your information provided will only be used for academic purpose.
Your participation would help in forming a broader view on general
perceptions of Chinese culture for the research and consequently, help
museums build upon these perceptions in interpreting Chinese
collections which enrich your museum experience.
