Hilarious!

Igor Weller has been a slavish defender of Seaver for YEARS -- at every
turn -- long before her book was published.

Quite clearly there are corrosive issues of Professional Jealousy and
Feral
Backbiting between Kirsten Seaver and Jorgen D. Siemonsen, which Igor
Weller, as a slavish lickspittle lackey and trusted factotum to Seaver
wants
to SWEEP under the RUG.

Appalling!

However, Igor Weller has already let the cat out of the bag by quoting
Seaver from the horse's mouth -- with her slurs on Mr. Siemonsen intact:

Slur # 1

"The three authors of this 28-page (PDF) re****t are reputable
conservation specialists, which prompts the question of why they
re****ted having relied on Mr. Siemonsen to secure the Beinecke
Library's co-operation."

Slur # 2

"The re****t observes that a major spur for this Danish research effort
was "a Vinland Map Debate held in Copenhagen in May 2004 with
participation of leading international experts and organised by
Director Jørgen D. Siemonsen in cooperation with the Danish National
Museum." The facts concerning that "Debate" are somewhat different."

Slur #3 Extended

"Soon I learned from colleagues in Norway, Denmark, and the U.K. that
Mr. Siemonsen was making a number of telephone calls on his own
initiative to arrange a "round table" event that night, planned and
presided over by him. However, the conference organizers prevailed.
Mr. Siemonsen at no time had anything to do with arranging my own
talk, nor was he in charge of the Vinland Map evening at National
Museum. He did, however, make his mark by personally bringing in Dr.
Jacqueline Olin to talk about her ink research during half of the
evening's lecture time."

Does Jacqueline Olin actually have a Ph.D.? If so, in what field?

Pogue Towe, Igor Weller's other Master, constantly refers to her with the
downputting "Mrs. Olin".

Further, we still do not know whether Igor has given us a COMPLETE version
of Seaver's COMMENTS on the Danish Paper -- or only a selected,
cherry-picked version -- because he has not said so in this venue.

'Nuff Said.
