Removing groups from the "to" list is every bit as rude as turning your
back 
on people during a live discussion.  Desist.
If people do not want to read a thread, they will not read it; you do not 
have the right to take that decision for everyone.

I disagree.  He appears to have an honest grievance, and is acting on it
in 
a way that he hopes will be effective.

That I don't care about his grievance is another matter entirely.
