I did consider it once.
I think I was 9, and wanted to move out after my mother wouldn't let me
play football on the school field with the other kids.
My flat was going to be cool. I even remember doing (really ****) drawings
of it.
And why are you trying to base your life / flat / whatever around other
poeple's memories? If you don't have (m)any memories of your own, maybe
it's not the best thing to pursue?
