Renown Health is expanding in Reno with an all new family practice in South Reno’s Summit Mall. The clinic will offer basic services along with a lab and may add more services at a later date. The design of the clinic encourages comfort and relaxation for the patients who are meant to feel right at home. The space has flexibility where staff can meet with their patients in the conference room.Future services are on hold until the final outcome of Obamacare has been settled. The current staff numbers eleven with an additional doctor and nurse practitioner on the horizon. The clinic is large, comes in at 10,000 square feet, and was built by Shaheen Beauchamp Builders LLC. All of the necessary services required for construction came from companies who are based inside of Reno.
With the steady growth of Reno and the improvements seen in the economy of Renown Health believed the time was right for an additional facility. Renown operates twelve primary care clinics in Reno-Sparks, Fallon, Carson City, and Fernley. Their newest clinic is located in the Caughlin Ranch area.Renown Health is the only clinic in Reno with a local government. They are a healthcare network decidedly not for profit and all of their earnings stay in Reno. The company’s earnings are reinvested in the people and programs of the local community. Their sole purpose is helping their patients and their communities. The local citizens even have a voice in how the earnings are spent and many of them serve in an advisory capacity.
Renown Health has taken the time to form relationships with partners capable of helping them assist the community. Stanford Medicine, Stanford Children’s Health, and Stanford Health Care became visionary partners in 2016. Due to the advances occurring in healthcare sometimes resources and medical services must be provided by specialized services. These services are available within the Reno and northern Nevada communities.
